Me

Hi! I am a crip-queer scholar of disability and creative practitioner with a key research in inclusive research methodologies, critical medical humanities and Tourette Syndrome.

Currently, I am an Assistant Professor (Research) in the Department of Sociology and the Institute for Medical Humanities at Durham University. Within this work, I am the PI for the Wellcome-funded Towards Tourettic Futures, a 5-year programme of research that brings together creative arts, sociology of health and illness, and critical disability studies in order to imagine more inclusive futures for the Tourette Syndrome community.

Additionally, as a multidisciplinary creative practitioner I have almost a decade of experience in photography, digital art, and musicianship and offer my services in the forms of arts funding, photography, and the delivery of creative workshops.
